Tea Party Group Presents Petition to Congressman

May 8, 2009

The petition calls for the restoration of limited government and an end to the irresponsible spending sprees of the past few months. Concerned citizens met at the Free Speech Monument by the Charlottesville Pavilion at 3:00 p.m. There was a brief rally at 3:30 p.m., and then a march to Congressman Perriello’s office at 3:45 p.m. The Tea Party momentum continues to grow and promote positive change in the direction of liberty!
